About Me

I’m an Italian native freelance translator

freelance patent translator

I have a strong experience (10 years) in translating patents belonging to chemical/pharmaceutical/medical/biotech fields.

I reached a solid TM in chemistry and biotech’s patent language thanks to my past close collaboration with an IP firm based in Milan and particularly with my fully dedicated reviewer who is a European Patent Attorney, available as a referee.

In the last seven years, I worked also with many European outsoucers in translating:

  • patents in chemical/pharmaceutical and biotech fields
  • instrumentation manuals
  • Clinical and Safety Documentations of medical products
  • clinical dossiers for drug approval (EMEA)
  • dental and veterinary works
  • website IT localization

Relevant English and Swedish outsoucers (patent translations) approved my job with WWA such you can see on Proz.com

STUDIO 2011 and my degree (dentistry) allowed me successfully participating to an EU pharmaceutical tender together with a translation agency for EMEA’s and EMA’s projects (SmPC/Labelling) and to the localization of one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high-tech dental units and cutting edge 3D digital dental imaging devices (Finnish).

If you are looking for poor quality low-cost services, I will suggest to use machine translation.

Instead, the CAT TOOL methodology is a device which enables the correlation of my experience with the Patent Attorneys’ high professional education and specificity of the language and wording employed in patenting world. TThe process of enriching the TM is a process which needs a lot of time and efforts. Moreover, the natural evolution of this powerful method, allows me to implement my knowledge to the outsoucer’s personal TM with regard to style, consistency, protocols or strict requirements (i.e. EMA’s SmPC/Labelling).
